Directions from Area Airports

Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI)

  1. Head out of the Airport by taking I-195 West Bound.
  2. Travel 1.8 miles West on I-195.
  3. Merge on to MD-295 South, Via Exit 2B toward Washington.
  4. Merge on to US Route 50 West/New York Avenue NE toward Washington.
  5. New York Ave NE becomes MT Vernon Ave NW.
  6. MT Vernon Ave NW becomes Massachusetts Ave NW.
  7. At 13th Street NW, keep in your right lane to enter Thomas Circle.
  8. Turn right onto M Street NW.
  9. Turn Right onto 18th Street NW.

    10. Estimated Distance: 33 Miles.
    Estimated Travel Time: 47 minutes (plan on 70 minutes or more during AM or PM Rush Hours)

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

  1. Exit the airport via the the North Exit, following signs directing you to the George Washington Memorial Parkway (GW Parkway) heading North.
  2. Merge on to the GW Parkway, staying on the right hand side of the parkway.
  3. Exit on to US Route 1 North toward Washington.
  4. Travel across the 14th Street Bridge/US Route 1 North in to Washington DC.
  5. Remain on 14th Street, staying towards the left hand lanes.
  6. Make a left hand turn onto K Street NW.
  7. Travel six blocks, staying to the right side, and make a right hand turn on to 18th Street.
  8. Take 18th Street to the intersection of 18th & M Streets and you will arrive in front of NBAA's Headquarters.

    Estimated Distance: 5 Miles.
    Estimated Travel Time: 15 minutes (plan on 40 minutes or more during AM or PM Rush Hours)

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Depending upon where you start at the airport, you will want to make your way towards the Dulles Airport Access Road (Route 267). Follow signs that lead you to to the Dulles Airport Access Road and then follow the directions below.

  1. Take the Dulles Airport Access Road (Route 267) in the direction of Washington DC. (There are no toll charges as long as you remain on the Access Road.)
  2. Dulles Airport Access Route will merge with the Toll Road after the last toll both, located at Tysons Corner. Upon the merge of the two roads, the name of the road changes to Route 267.
  3. Follow Route 267 to Interstate 66 East.
  4. Route 267 will merge on to Interstate 66 East. It is suggested that you move to the far right hand lane prior to merging with I-66, this will help you position for merging onto I-66.
  5. Follow I-66 East to the E Street Exit. Exit will be on your left hand side.
  6. Remain on E Street.
  7. At the intersection of E Street and 18th Street, make a left hand turn on to 18th Street.
  8. Remain on 18th Street. NBAA is 10 blocks up from E Street. Refer to map of local area around NBAA Headquarters for location of the closest parking garages.
