UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarship
This scholarship is named for Janice Barden, who has been active in the aviation community for decades and has served as the chair of the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention Local Committee more than any other person in NBAA history.
NBAA annually awards $5,000 to five undergraduates studying aviation-related curricula at NBAA and University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions (to review full list, download the application form).
Applicants must be undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors enrolled in an aviation-related two-year, four-year, or postgraduate degree program. Students must have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. A completed and signed application form must be accompanied by an essay, official transcript, resume and letter of recommendation.
