The NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee is dedicated to promoting education and training as a means for business aviation schedulers and dispatchers to enhance their careers. To support this position, NBAA offers current and aspiring schedulers and dispatchers the opportunity to receive training awards in conjunction with several sponsors – Airline Dispatchers Federation, Airline Ground Schools, CornerStone Strategies LLC, Corporate Flight Attendant Training by Susan C. Friedenberg, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, FlightSafety International and MedAire, Inc. – and the NBAA GA Desk at the FAA Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCC).

Scholarship recipients will be announced at the NBAA 21st Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference, to be held from January 27 to 29, 2010, in San Antonio, TX. Training awards will be redeemable under the conditions established by NBAA and its sponsors. Recipients must complete all professional/educational training by January 2011, unless otherwise noted, or risk forfeit of the award. Recipients also are responsible for costs associated with the scholarship, such as travel and lodging expenses, unless otherwise noted. NBAA scholarship applicants are limited to receiving one award per person, per year.

A completed application package, which includes application form, one essay, one resume and two letters of recommendation, must be received by NBAA no later than October 30, 2009, to be considered for the scholarship. See application for full details and award descriptions.
