Gold Wing Award
The NBAA Gold Wing Award is presented annually for excellent, accurate and insightful reporting
on issues related to business aviation, by trade or nontrade media, in print, web-based or
broadcast formats. (Business aviation is the use of general aviation aircraft for business
purposes.) The NBAA Gold Wing Award recognizes journalism’s important role in reporting
the significant contributions of business aviation to the national economy.
Winners receive an honorarium at the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention Media Kickoff Breakfast. Co-authors of a winning entry will share honorarium.

Rules for 2008 Gold Wing Award Submissions:
- Entries may be single articles, features or a series on business aviation issues published
in print, web-based or broadcast formats.
- Stories should have appeared in print, online or on-air between June 1, 2007, and June 30, 2008.
- For articles appearing in print, submit original copies of the
published articles. For articles appearing online, submit the
articles either in hardcopy format or in PDF format on CD.
For audio or video features airing on TV or radio, or published
online, submit the features in digital format on CD
or DVD.
- Entries will be judged by a panel of experts, and their decision is final.
- The deadline for the 2008 award is July 15, 2008.
All entries become the property of NBAA and entrant gives consent for reprinting/duplication.
Entrant also gives NBAA permission to use entry and entrant’s name for educational or
promotional purposes.
