Description

The Associate Member Advisory Council has been established to: (1) define the relationship among all segments of the Membership and to recommend programs that would improve communications between those segments and (2) advise the NBAA Board of Directors on areas of interest to the Associate Membership. NBAA Members can forward questions, comments or suggestions to the Committee Chairman or the NBAA Staff Liaison.

Summary of Recent Action

• Contributed to NBAA’s strategic planning and tactical issues identification and management.
• Revised the Council’s subcommittee structure to emphasize security, people, environmental, user fees and international issues and renewed efforts to identify the most critical matters within each subject area.
• Provided ongoing analysis, and targeted deployment, of a study of the user-fee issue and initiated research into the personnel needs of NBAA Member Companies.
• Provided ongoing contribution to the progress of NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention, EBACE, LABACE, ABACE, Seminars and Regional Forums.
