Online Advocacy Center
Visit NBAA’s Online Advocacy Center to learn more about how you can help defeat the FAA’s user fee plan. The FAA's reauthorization, or funding, proposal submitted to U.S. Congress in February 2007 provides a huge tax break and other giveaways to the large airlines, while punishing the mostly small and mid-size businesses in general aviation, and stripping Congress of most of its role in aviation system funding decisions. These changes will considerably increase costs and threaten access to airspace and airports for the general aviation community, and the industry is unified in its strong opposition to the proposal. To learn more about the resources available to help you voice your opposition to the proposal, visit the main Online Advocacy Center web page at www.nbaa.org/advocacycenter.

Prototypical Business Aviation Safety Manual
In order to assist the Membership in developing or refining a formal safety program, the NBAA Safety Committee has compiled a Prototypical Business Aviation Safety Manual. The motivation for this project was to ensure NBAA Member Companies a means of addressing risk within their organizations. The NBAA Safety Committee has identified both flight and ground safety programs that may be necessary to reduce risk in any business aviation organization. These programs are prototypes only and should not be construed as recommended policy. Each organization should tailor their own safety program to its own specific needs.

IBAC Aircrew Identification Card
The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) administers the IBAC Aircrew Identification Card, which identifies crewmembers of business aircraft so that international flights may be cleared more expeditiously. Card holders tend to receive the same sort of expedited treatment as crewmembers of commercial aircraft. Card design may be customized at the request of the aircraft operator to include aircraft tail numbers and a corporate logo. In addition, the logo of the IBAC-affiliated national or regional association of which the operator is a member appears on the top left-hand corner of the card.
