Static Display Rules & Regulations
The NBAA2007 Static Display of Aircraft will be held at Fulton County Airport-Brown Field (FTY) in Atlanta, GA.

Static Display Pricing
Members
Static display Space will be sold in two formats:
- Ramp Space for Aircraft
- $160 per 10 ft by 10 ft (100 sq ft) block of Ramp Space for aircraft.
- Tent/Chalet Space
- $450 per 10 ft by 10 ft (100 sq ft) block for hospitality structures greater than 400 sq ft.
Priority is given to Static display Exhibitors who also purchase Exhibit Space in the Georgia World Congress Center.
Non-Members
Non-Members, please add $350 to the NBAA Member Static Display pricing above to be applied toward NBAA Membership dues. Please note, however, that NBAA offers a wide variety of Membership opportunities and actual Membership dues may be higher.
Aircraft Movement Fee
NBAA will use the services of Lektro, Inc. for all aircraft movements at a price of $400 per aircraft. NBAA will collect this fee as a courtesy to Exhibitors and will remit payments to Lektro, Inc. directly.
Chalets/Tents/RVs
Tents, chalets, small entrance units (canopies) and aircraft signage are permitted pending approval by NBAA and Fulton County Airport, whose ruling shall be final. In the event they are approved, all items must be secured. No nailing, drilling, hammering, tacking or affixing in any manner will be permitted on the tarmac.
All GPUs, air-conditioners and tents must be supplied through AEM; and only AEM-supplied equipment will be allowed onto the Static Display. Should Exhibitors require GPUs, airconditioners and/or tents, all equipment must be sourced directly and solely from AEM. AEM agrees to recognize the right of Exhibitors to provide their own GPUs, air-conditioners and/or tents at any or all Static displays subject to the following: Exhibitor-owned GPUs, air-conditioners and/or tents must be the wholly-owned property of the Member Exhibiting Company and not the real property of the Exhibitor’s I&D contractor, display house, contracted third-party or agent or provided to the Member Exhibiting Company under loan, lease or rent wherein full ownership of the equipment does not reside with the Member Exhibiting Company at all times.
Exhibitor-owned GPUs, air-conditioners and/or tents approved by AEM for use at the Static displays will be subject to an administrative fee from AEM to the Exhibitor equal to 15% of the equivalent equipment quote value for GPUs, air-conditioners and/or tents supplied by AEM.
Any tent 30 ft by 30 ft or smaller on the non-perimeter ramp space will set up Sunday, October 22, at 3:00 pm.
Exposed backs of RVs must be covered so they are not objectionable to other Exhibitors, Attendees or NBAA.
All RVs/tent structures larger than 30 ft by 30 ft will be placed on the perimeter of the Static display. RVs up to 50 feet in length may be used by Exhibitors as offices during the Show, provided RVs fit within the Exhibitor’s purchased Space. Advertising the rental or sale of the RV is prohibited since NBAA is an aviation event. Any signage not directly attributed to the Exhibiting company will be removed. In addition, RVs are not permitted to run their engines to power electrical/cooling systems during Show hours. Exhibitors must use external electric sources to run these systems during the Show.
Buses, storage trucks and trailers are not permitted on the Static Display, unless they contain a walk-through Display, such as a mock-up, or if outfitted as an office. RVs, mobile units and trailers must move in on monday, September 24, and move out at 3:00 pm sharp on Thursday, September 27, to allow for aircraft movement.
All Exhibiting Companies must submit to-scale diagrams of their proposed displays to Joe Hart at NBAA (jhart@nbaa.org) for approval. Please be sure to include measurements of all structures, tents, trailers, etc. layouts should be faxed to NBAA at (202) 737-4478 for approval. Approved layouts will be signed and returned to Exhibitors via fax. All Exhibitors must receive prior approval or they will forfeit their Space.

Move-Out – Fulton County Airport Static Display
The dismantling of Static Display Exhibits/Tents/Chalets and other display elements may not start until 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2007 (Show closing). All Static Display Exhibits/Tents/Chalets and other display elements must be completely dismantled and cleared from the ramp by 6:00 pm on Friday, September 28, 2007.
Any Exhibitor dismantling displays earlier than 3:00 pm on September 27 will lose priority status in 2008.
All Exhibitor-owned tents must be struck immediately at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 27, to facilitate aircraft departures. No trucks, cars or other ground vehicles are permitted into the Static Display until all aircraft have been moved out.
All aircraft must either depart or return to an Exhibitor-appointed FBO by 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2007.
Aircraft Arrival
All Aircraft are required to arrive by 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2007. Depending upon location, however, arriving by the assigned a move-in time that requires your aircraft to arrive on Saturday, September 22. Arrival deadlines will be assigned by NBAA and must be strictly adhered to.
NBAA reserves the right to deny placement of aircraft not arriving by the assigned deadline. If Static Display Space is not occupied by 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2007, it will be considered canceled by the Exhibitor. At that time, the Association shall use the Space as it deems appropriate, and will begin to release Space to those companies on the waiting list.
Aircraft Placement
Placement of aircraft, generators, restrooms, service elements, etc. is entirely at the discretion of NBAA.
Aircraft Departures
Aircraft movement will begin promptly at 3:30 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2007.
Exhibitor's Insurance
Exhibitor shall have in full force and effect while parked in the Static Display area for the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention, as evidenced by a certificate of insurance, a comprehensive general liability insurance policy or aircraft liability insurance policy including premises liability in which NBAA and Fulton County Airport are named as additional insured, in an amount not less than six million dollars ($6,000,000) combined single limit for any one occurrence involving bodily injury, death or property damage. Additionally, Exhibitor shall provide aircraft hull (all risk) insurance for the full replacement value of the aircraft, including a waiver of subrogation in favor of NBAA and Fulton County Airport.
The certificate of insurance shall provide that if the insurance is canceled or materially changed, the insurance carrier will notify both NBAA and Fulton County Airport thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of cancellation or material change and within ten (10) days for non-payment. Certificates of insurance must be provided to NBAA a minimum of 14 days prior to arriving at the Static Display of Aircraft on Fulton County Airport for the NBAA Convention. No exceptions.
Exhibitor’s Indemnity
Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NBAA and the Fulton County Airport for and against any and all liability which might arise from injury to person or property out of Exhibitor’s, its guests’, employees’ or assigns’ acts or omissions at the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention.
Neither the issuance of any insurance policy required in the Application for Static Display Space at the Airport nor the minimum limits specified herein shall be deemed to limit or restrict in any way Exhibitor’s liability arising out of its activities at the NBAA Convention.
Exhibitor agrees that NBAA and the Fulton County Airport will not be responsible for any loss, theft, damage, injury or destruction to Exhibitor’s property or the property of its agents, guests, assigns or employees, by or from any cause whatsoever, and Exhibitor expressly releases NBAA and Fulton County Airport, and their respective officers, employees, Members and agents, from any and all claims for such loss, theft, damage, injury or destruction, or for loss of good will (whether or not in relation to any property).
Demonstration and Presentation Flights
Aircraft displayed on the Static Display are prohibited from conducting demonstration or presentation flights.
Powering of Static Display Exhibits and Aircraft
No aircraft Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) at the Static Display may run during Show days (September 25, 26 and 27, 2007). All electrical power must be purchased through Freeman, and only Freeman generators will be permitted in the Static Display. Power should be ordered directly through Freeman. Power order forms will be included in the Exhibitor Service Kit distributed in mid-June 2007. The use of self-contained generators or engines in mobile displays or RVs is also strictly prohibited.
AEM International has been selected as the official provider of Ground Power Units (GPUs) and Air Conditioning Units. Visit www.aeminternational.com for more information on pricing and availability. Please note, electricity to run the GPU, electrical labor to drop lines and actual electrical usage must be ordered separately through Freeman. Order forms for all these services will be supplied in the Exhibitor Service Kit.
Show power will run on September 24, 2007, and September 25, 2007, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. On the final Show day, September 27, power will run from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm to accommodate aircraft departures and tear down.
Vendor Requirements
Any caterer, I&D contractor, tent company, etc. working on behalf of an Exhibitor will be required to provide appropriate insurance documentation, which the Exhibitor is responsible for obtaining and providing to NBAA’s Joe Hart (jhart@nbaa.org) by August 20, 2007.
Security and Liability
NBAA will hire security officers for the Static Display area beginning at 8:00 am on Saturday, September 22, to 6:00 pm on Friday, September 28. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the safeguarding of materials, equipment and displays at all times. It should be understood that NBAA and Fulton County Airport will not be responsible for any loss, theft, damage, injury or destruction to Exhibitor’s property or the property of its agents, guests, assigns or employees, by or from any cause whatsoever, and Exhibitor expressly releases NBAA, Fulton County Airport and their respective officers, employees, members and agents, from any and all claims for such loss, theft, damage, injury or destruction, or for loss of good will (whether or not in relation to any property). It is strongly suggested that exhibitors obtain insurance covering such losses as theft, fire and damage to property.
Car Parking at the Static Display
Exhibitor parking is available adjacent to the marshalling yard at Fulton County Airport. During Show days, please make use of the NBAA Static Display shuttle bus service from the Georgia World Congress Center.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Emergency medical services (EMS) will be available at the Static Display registration area during Show days.
Inclement Weather Regulations
NBAA Show Management will follow the guidance of the Fulton County Airport with respect to closing the Static Display in the event of inclement weather conditions. NBAA Show Management will advise all Attendees when a safe and secure environment has been reestablished and the Static Display can reopen.
Additional Rules for the Static Display on Fulton County Airport
- There are weight/ramp limitations at Fulton County Airport. Aircraft in certain positions will be required to install plates under the main gear. Plates will be provided at no charge.
- No fueling is permitted during Show hours. There are two FBOs on FCA – Raytheon and Hill Aircraft Service. Aircraft not using Raytheon and/or Hill Aircraft Service must be fueled prior to being accepted into the Static display.
- No support vehicles or exhibit construction vehicles may access the Static display area without prior permission of NBAA. If approved, these vehicles must be properly insured and registered with NBAA before set up. No personal vehicles (cars, trucks, golf carts, scooters, motorcycles, Segways, etc.) will be allowed into the Static Display area at any time for any reason.
- The Exhibitor Service Kit will be distributed to Static Display Exhibitors in mid-June 2007 and will further clarify and may amend these Rules & Regulations.
