Alberth Aviation/Alberth Air Parts
Tomball, TX, is home to a small business of inventors who engineer and custom build safety and labor-saving devices for general aviation, including their newest offering, a hydraulic wheel and brake dolly that stops traffic in the aisle by their Booth 7950 when they demonstrate how it works. “Maintenance guys love it,” said the company’s founder, Rudy Alberth Sr. “It saves backs.” But Alberth is quick to point to his son, Rudy Alberth, as the owner of the family business these days. The Alberths and their crew, led by operations chief Lou Kahanek, have an amazing collection of inventions designed to make work around a hangar or maintenance facility easier and safer. There’s a bottled water cart and a lavatory service cart designed for cleanliness and lower maintenance costs, and the first tire cage designed and tested for the aviation industry that is OSHA-compliant and tested and approved by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army. “We sold everything here, double,” on the NBAA Annual Meeting & Convention’s first day, Alberth Sr. said.
