An Atlanta-area company, Magnolia Plastics got to play a home game at NBAA2007 at its Booth 2545. From its manufacturing facility in Chamblee, GA, near Atlanta, the company provides a variety of high-performance epoxy systems, coatings and other plastics for a number of industries, including aerospace and aviation. The ISO 9001:2000 certified company is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Joe Leonardo, an account executive on the Magnolia team led by President Rick Wells, said the company’s aviation customers include original equipment manufacturers, distributors, and service and repair operations. “We see a lot of the companies we do business with here,” Leonardo said, including a lot of people with firms that specialize in aircraft interiors. “We came this year because the show is in Atlanta, and we’re happy that we did,” he said.
