will be covered include insurance rates, how much limit is enough, coverage
for pilots, unexpected lawsuit exposure and losses not covered by insurance.

Aircraft Market Trends
Corporate aircraft are assets like stocks, real estate and other investments.
An owner and operator should regularly track where their aircraft fits
in a market, what affects that market and how to use that market knowledge
when considering buying, selling, potential upgrades or major maintenance.
Please join Jay Mesinger for a tour through aircraft market trends and
how to use that knowledge to make informed decisions about your aviation
asset.

Approach and Landing Accident Reduction
What’s the most frequent type of operational accident for
business/ corporate aircraft? For decades, approach-and-landing accidents
consistently have accounted for approximately 50 per cent of U.S. business
aviation accidents, with no evidence of recent improvement. From this session,
you will learn what the threats related to the approach and landing phase
of flight are and how to develop an avoidance strategy. The final emphasis
is on a training strategy that focuses on the elements required to develop
and sustain a safety culture.
Presenter: Tom Logan, Executive Vice President -Corporate, Human Performance Training Institute

January 20, 2005. basic flight planning issues for approved and non-approved
aircraft; how FAA airspace managers and controllers expect to handle aircraft;
and how contingencies like turbulence, mountain wave and equipment failures
can affect the operation will be addressed. At least 20 minutes will be
devoted to question and answer discussion of topics presented, as well as

Pre-Purchase Evaluations: Avoiding Technical Traps
Many people think a pre-purchase inspection involves inspecting the
aircraft to see if it appears to be airworthy. In actuality, the physical
inspection is just one part of a complex process that involves pre-planning,
workscope definition, communications, records research, and post-event
actions.
We use the lessons we have learned from past projects to build a program
that walks people through the typical process and insert examples of problems
we have encountered to underscore the points that are made in this presentation.
This course is FAA approved and qualifies for two-hours of IA recurrent
training.
Presenter: Pete Kilmartin, Vice President, BTL Service Sales, Duncan Aviation
