This presentation will discuss the nature and genesis of distractions and strategies to reduce the vulnerabilities created by distractions. It will focus on how distractions can decrease situational awareness, and thus overall performance in flight, sometimes so-much-so that the effects can be catastrophic. |

Aircraft Acquisition, Ownership and Leasing

This session will consider a "typical transaction" case study concerning pre-purchase, closing, ownership and sale scenario. An emphasis will be placed on important issues relating to avoiding legal, regulatory, risk management problems and personal use planning. The dual presentation interplays both the Seller and Purchaser role and covers the decision-making process from both sides. Additional information concerning the financial presentation, FAA registration issues, final transaction and closing checklist as well as aircraft charter is included. |

Very Light Jets: Eclipse 500 Program Update

The introduction of single-pilot and technically advanced aircraft into the business aviation marketplace marks the beginning of a new and exciting era in personal and business travel. In early 2006, Eclipse Aviation approaches FAA for certification of the Eclipse 500 and the company gears up for production. Information will be provided to describe how the company expects to meet its production goals, maintain the fleet and train and insure its pilots.
Special emphasis will be placed on the experience of flying the Eclipse 500 and how its systems surpass industry expectations. |
