Conference Overview

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) will host the 16th Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference from February 13 to 16, 2005, at the Reno Hilton in Reno, Nevada. The NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference gives Attendees the most up-todate information on issues directly related to their role in the corporate flight department. It also provides NBAA Associate Members an opportunity to meet those individuals directly responsible for the scheduling and dispatching of aircraft from various-sized corporate flight departments throughout the world. The attendance for 2004 was a record breaker with more than 1,300 registered Attendees and 238 Exhibiting Companies. An even greater turnout is expected for 2005.

Schedulers Professional Development Program (SPDP) Course

NBAA's Schedulers Professional Development Program is a professional training program designed specifically for business aviation schedulers and dispatchers, with courses geared to help improve job performance as well as communications and leadership skills. Join us for a fast pace, fun filled evening where Bowling and Disco highlight this year's event. Everyone will have the opportunity to bowl two games, as well as, dine and dance to a real live Disco Disk Jockey in the Silver State Pavilion. The Reno Hilton's 50 lane bowling alley can accommodate 200 bowlers at a time, so please indicate on the registration form if you wish to bowl. Teams will be randomly selected as you enter the bowling alley. Each team will be together for both games, but will rotate to play a different opponent each game. Bowling games will begin at 6:00, 7:30 and 9:00 p.m.

Note to all Attendees

Don’t forget to bring plenty of business cards for networking and the grand prize drawings. The dress code for all events is business casual (slacks, skirts, blouses, sweaters and blazers for women, and slacks, polo shirts, button-down shirts, blazers or sweaters for men.) NBAA also recommends wearing comfortable shoes for walking. Meeting rooms have a tendency to be cool.

Bookstore Debut

1st Ever Bookstore at this Year's Conference

A Conference Bookstore will make its debut at the 16th Annual Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference February 13-16, 2005. The bookstore will allow attendees and exhibitors an opportunity to purchase books and other resources that relate to aviation, personal growth, career development, and conference sessions.

NBAA will consider books and resources recommended by conference exhibitors, speakers and participants. Recommendations for books must meet at least one of the following criteria: (1) aviation-related, (2) personal growth, (3) professional development, and include the following information:

  • Title
  • Author
  • Publisher
  • Contact information of the person making the submission

All recommendations are subject to NBAA/Committee approval and publisher availability. Please e-mail recommendations to dgreen@nbaa.org, no later than December 15, 2004.
