White Plains REACHBAC Luncheon Draws Record Crowd

NBAA's Operation REACHBAC luncheon, held last Friday, September 17 at Westchester
County Airport (HPN), drew more than 500 attendees – nearly 200 more
than last year's record. New NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen, who visited several
flight departments the prior day, spoke of an increased role for government
affairs for NBAA and a continued focus on airport and airspace access.

Special guest James Lovell, commander of Apollo 13, described his heroic journey
for attendees, and NBAA Board Member Jeffrey W. Lee, Westchester Aviation Association
(WAA) president, emphasized the important work of WAA on significant aviation
issues with state, county and local officials. Other speakers included Westchester
County Association President Bill Mooney, Congresswoman Sue Kelly and Westchester
County Executive Andrew Spano.
